My Evo stopped vibrating
My EVO stopped vibrating. Haptic feedback doesn't work. It doesn't vibrate when I get a text, email or phone call.
Any tips? I've tried sound manager but that didn't work (vibration settings.)
I'm not looking to lose my apps or data, but if it comes to that how would I go about storing them (and hopefully their data as well.) - 06-03-2011, 05:42 AM #2

I also had that issue and had to get a replacement phone through insurance. Reset didn't work for me.

If it truly is a harware issue the phone has to be replaced. The vibrate motors are actually soldered onto the main baord. I dont recall if its the type that can be removed but i think its not designed to be. I have only worked on a hand full of them and i didnt pay much attetion to that part of the phone.
