For all of you guys, i just followed instructions posted in the following forum
I have a sprint evo design and had to change and save the text file to this:
modelid: PH4410000
cidnum: SPCS_001
mainver: 3.14.651.0
hbootpreupdate:12
DelCache:1

I hope this works for every owner of a sprint evo design here
