Phone stays awake?+Kernel question

I noticed my shift stayed awake for a really long time. 27% of my entire battery went to a game i played for like 5 mins and my battery went down less than 10% from playing so I dont understand what keeping my phone awake constantly. the bar graph is one big blue solid block. Feedback would be great.
Also,
I'm running the recent x99 kernel on shiftdeck 1.2x and I was wondering if any other kernels support it?

Not really sure what would be keeping your phone awake.. What are your screen timeout settings? Also do you have a lot of data intensive apps running in the background? My biggest battery consumption from Shift Deck ROM is always cell standby but I usually get a poor signal where I work.

As far as kernels, I've been using Sparksco's Kernel and its really smooth and good on battery life. You can get it here

hmm ok, ill give it a try after another day on x99.
I did just notice my email was set to update every 15min, so i changed that. My twitter widget is at manual as well as fbook. So i wouldnt really know what else I would need to change.
I didnt notice though the game I played had an exit option and I think I just hit back or home instead, could that be it?

with the rock mod kernel Android System is at 64% im at 74% battery at 2.30 hours... with moderate usage, texts, games, short phone calls. But I know for at least one hour I didnt use it because I was playing basketball.
