Thinking of switching from an Epic to the Shift...
If I do, can I use Wireless Tether on the Shift once I'm rooted?

Anyone got an answer for this? I tried to look for the wireless tether apk and cannot find it for the Evo Shift. It is out there for the Evo, but not the shift. tried to load the Evo version on the Shift, and it does not work.

I'm using 3.0-pre3 on my Shift and it works great!
What version did you try?

Thanks for the reply! I tried the same one I have on my EVO (3.0-pre7)..I'll try pre3 and see if that works!

no go...3.0pre3 did not work either.

The Shift is not permant rooted, but using the temp root at boot up. I've verified that it is rooted...but the tether is not working at all... ugh.
