Charge while off?

Is it possible to turn off clockwork so I can charge my device while its off. Everytime I try to charge it, clockwork always turns on. Its a pain.

This is one of the things you have to put up with when rooted its a clockworks recovery think it happened to everybody.

I'm running clockworkmod on my Evo Shift 4G, Phone is currently off, plugged in, and charging. *shrug* I didn't do anything special. I powered down the phone with it plugged in, but I've since swapped the location of the charger and all seems well. Try installing the latest version of ClockworkRecovery. It may solve your problems.
