I hope so. Looking at some of the updates it seems like it will be awesome.
From Techradar.com:
"Google kicked off its launch event by announcing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which will be the first device to run Ice Cream Sandwich and will be launched in November."
So who knows when and if we'll get it. Keep your fingers crossed.

Don't forget, we're the red-headed step-children of HTC. We're lucky they even remember we exist. All we can hope for is a newer version of the Shift that is ICS-ready. Perhaps they'll name it the EVO "Shaft" LTE/4G, and include all the latest goodies. Yeah, right! :p

Depends on when they EOL the shift and on how long it takes HTC to make sense work on it.

We will ics shortly after the source drops. There is already a version out, but the touchscreen doesn't work.
