I believe you would use the RUU, that should put everything back to stock....except S-ON. You should be able to use the Revolutionary S-ON tool for that part though.

If you use the RUU I don't believe you will lose root, it will delete Clockwork though but wont give you S-ON. Don't install the OTA until you can confirm for a fact that you are unrooted and completely back to stock, just to avoid any kind of problems.

Re: RUU or PG06IMG?
This is wrong.. The RUU will return you completely back to stock with S-Off. The Evo Shift is not rooted or supported by Revolutionary.
2.3.3 is NOT rootable..you must downgrade to root. Plain and simple. If you want to run stock and keep root then use x99's rooted stock ROMThanked by 2: - 11-03-2011, 06:53 PM

I'll be completely honest, I've never needed to use it so I'm not sure. I don't want to tell you something and it bork your phone. I would assume that that would be the correct procedure as that's what you usually have to rename files like that to. Sorry I can't give you a definite answer though. Crump...any suggestions?
