Default Win 7 USB connectivity issues

Has anyone else had any issue with their Evo Shift not being recognized by a Win 7 machine? I have 3 computers in my house - two of them have Win 7 and one has Win XP. When I connect my Evo Shift (using the same USB chords) to the Win 7 machines, the computer and the phone does not give me options for Disk Drive, HTC Sync, Charge Only, etc. Instead, it just charges. But when I connect the phone to a Win XP machine everything works fine.

I should note that my wife's Evo 4G has no problems connecting to any of the machines (again, using the same USB cable) and that one of my Win 7 machines is a new build.

Have you tried checking for drivers or changing which usb port you are using? I've never had a problem

Yes I have and the same issue with BOTH Win 7 machines on all USB ports and NONE of the issues with my wife's EVO 4G on ANY of these ports. I'm just wondering if there are some compatibility issues for Win 7 Pro and the Evo Shift that were caused by a recent update. But if others aren't having this issue, then I guess it might be just me.

No yellow triangles with the device manager. In fact, the device manager used to have a display of "Android Phone" but it no longer does.
