    Default Dose the shift have a horizontal software keyboard

    I was wondering bc my gf is wanting to get on my plain on Sprint from t-mobile and like the shift but shes wandering if it has a horizontal software keyboard

    I haven't played with it yet, but my assumption is that it should have the stock software keyboard, as well as the ability to download other keyboards, all of which should work in landscape and portrait.

    Yes, and it's a good size for thumb typing if she likes to do that.

    The reSonance I'm asking is gf we went to a Sprint store to play with one to she if she if she would like it and it would not go in to landscape to show the keyboard and it will be her first smartphone

    Auto-rotate might have been turned off. (At my local Sprint store, they said the security device messes up auto-rotation on some devices, so they turn it off.)
