Bug Update: Screen focus jump when texting and no security when opening sliding kb

I reported both the HTC support via email and tried all of their suggestions, including factory reset, to no avail. Not sure what the root cause is yet, but will be contacting HTC warranty support later today and will provide an update. Just wanted to start a new thread on these bugs since many people seemed to be experiencing them.

One thing to note on the security issue -- if you set the phone to lock immediately, then when you slide the keyboard out you are prompted for your security pin. I'm using that as a work around until I get a replacement phone or they fix the bug.

Today I got a long enough text conversation to get this problem. The display rolls up to show the messages above the compose area. It can happen in the middle of typing, or when you've stopped for a while. Either way, it's very annoying.

(We sure are accumulating a lot of little glitches.)
