Just make sure you have 4G running (if available). Otherwise, it could take forever to download.

Woot! Going pretty quick for me over 3G. Must have been a big rush at first.

My wife's shift came with sense 2.1. Dope as hell. My evo didn't do that.

Been experimenting and checking things out since the upgrade, and everything is working fine. Boot time is right around 10-15 seconds! All my apps are working fine, and I like the notification bar. I'm very happy with it. I can only imagine how great Sense 3.0 will be on this device (if ever).

    boot speed is faster.
the boot animation file name changed for anyone interested. Its now spc_bootanimation.zip

My 3g speed was really slow, but i updated prl, and the profile. Now the 3g/4g speed seems the same.
My quadrant speed dropped about 200pts. so I dont know if Im going to keep it yet.

Not sure if it is related to the update or not, but when I attempt to update the PRL I get error:
The application com.smithmicro.DM (process com.smithmicro.DM) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

For all the changes in this upgrade, once I switched on 4G, the download and install was relatively quick. It took less time than the OS 6 upgrade on my old BB9650.

It's the new fastboot. It can be toggled on/off in settings > power. You can't access bootloader when its turned on.

The biggest difference I really don't like is the mass delete option is gone out of the mail app. You used to be able to hit menu settings delete, menu settings select all, delete all, that is gone so it is back to checking each email one by one and then selecting delete, stupid.

Things I like are the copy and paste. When you copy it gives you a little arrow and a zoom screen so you just drag the arrow where you want to select text. When you wan to move somewhere in a sentence you can also use that arrow to move exactly where you want to move instead of tapping on the screen 10 times to try and get the cursor exactly where you want it to be.

The did some new things with menus and buttons that make things a lot better. They put a send button on things so you know what button is the send button and it seems to send it the first time you push it instead of the 3rd or 4th time like mine used to do.

I really like it other than the mass delete option being gone.

Mass delete is still there, just an extra step.
    Deleting all messages
    1. First tap the check box of any email message.
    2. Press Menu and then tap Select all.
    3. Tap Delete.
