Just got it!
Ordered yesterday and it got here today. I am in the "loading up all my crap" stage but already this tablet has eliminated a lot of the issues I had with the Xoom. While the Motorola is a good tablet in some respects, other area left something to be desired.
The 10.1" screen on the Xoom while nice, is just too big IMO for tablet use. It's also a heavy beast. Deceptively so, but it doesnt balance like a book, as I think my ideal tab should. Furthermore, the Xoom launcher force closes a lot suggesting to me that something needs a bit more work.
Aside from that, there are the typical disappointments tied to the Xoom; no SD card support and no LTE months after promising it with version 2 fast approaching.
The view, while almost half the size feels better in both weight and manageability. The processor is fast and sense 2.1 is smooth and has most of the good things from sense 3.0.. Of course my experience with the EVO 4G contributes to my satisfaction with this device; even though it's rooted, I prefer sense ROMs. I chose the 1Gb data plan but will probably move it to my everything plan as a third line. The extra ten a month to do that isn't going to kill me, I'm sure.
Haven't played with the scribe yet, but I seriously doubt I'd pay 80 bones for a stylus, although the notes app does look somewhat compelling. Overall I give a "Bravo" to HTC for another winner!
