Pdanet with the view

Has anyone been able to use pdanet with the view? I have loaded pdanet tablet on the view and the cell phone,,


The two devices connct but I can not seem to be able to know if I'm am connecting to the web through pdanet and the cell phone or if my htc view is still connecting through its own connection

PDA-Net does not work Android-to-Android. If you have a data plan on your Android device, you can use PDA-Net to connect a Windows computer to the Android device (phone or tablet). That's its intended use. Sorry

This is not correct. I just got this to work today. Use pda net for tablets on the View, for your phone, download Fox Fi. No funky settings to configure!

I'm using a stock honeycomb view and rooted ics nexus s4g, but foxfi supposedly works with non rooted phones. Htc phones need to tether over bluetooth due to a wifi issue using this app.
