calendar associate not working

Whenever I'm in notes and I go to associate the note with a calendar event it only shows me one of my events that I have scheduled for Monday's, even if it isn't Monday. How can i fix this? This wasn't happening before a few days ago.

This might be an issue with the new Evernote update. Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app?

Evernote or Calendar? aren't both of them system apps anyway? I know notes is.
