TV Out?

I have tried the MHL adapter, says its compatible with Flyer. I tried it but got "unsupported format" when I set it all up. I know it was hooked up correctly, so I don't know what is going on.

Ideally, I'm looking for a composite solution (microUSB to red/yellow/white)

Does anyone know why:

1. That adapter doesn't work (tried 2 different tvs, 2 different hdmi cords)
2. Of any TV out options for the Flyer

You will need an MHL cable like the 12 pin shown in the link below, for video playback. MHL ports are backwards compatible with Micro USB. But for video out from your flyer you will need a MHL cable.

I bought a tv out for my HTC Incredible back when I had it - micro usb to composite - and the usb end was identical to the modified usb plug on my Flyer charger. I plugged it in and it did nothing.

When I plugged it in to my Incredible a tv out icon popped up on my status bar. Seems like it should just be a software thing in the Flyer's OS but I don't know enough about it.

same here. Except, I also plugged in the charger, which crashed the flyer. I loved DINCS TV out, because I could use it at the cottage fire Netflix. Then, due to an update gone rogue, had to be upgraded to DINC2, which is MHL and not compatible with the DINC cable I already had.

I found one other MHL adapter before you posted that one that I ask going to try, add there was a video review of them using a flyer. If that doesn't work, I will pick up that one

Expansys took 8 weeks to fill my order as it was out is stock, so I hope your experience is better than mine.

Edit:
I guess I should add that the HTC MHL cable from Expansys, not only outputs video to the HDMI port on your TV, it allows you to plug in your power adapter and provide power to your Flyer, while you are viewing your video.
