AndroidCentral had a post about it last week:

New HTC Flyer update brings 'improved performance' | Android Central

Folks in the comments have apparently been told different things by HTC support, including that it's for pre-release devices, that it's for UK devices only, or that it's rolling out gradually with different parts of the country getting it on different dates.

I haven't gotten the update here in Indiana. Bought it the Saturday before it went officially for sale.

This update it for the 3G Flyers released in the UK, not the US Wi-Fi ones

I received an update via OTA some days ago (I'm in Spain). Something like software 2.00.405.3. I only notice a fix on a bug (closing the keyboard after one touch in landscape mode in some situations) and maybe a more fluid navigation and/or better visual effect between the 8 initial displays.

We probably already have it in the states. Remember ours came out weeks later anyway.

The update is only for the 3G model.

If you have the wifi best buy version, you should not install it.

I agree. I wish HTC would hurry up with honeycomb. It's kinda pointless having a tablet and not having access to all the good apps in the market.

Because the update probably only pertains to the 3G radio?

I got the Xoom with the Honeycomb 3.1 for two months. It's not all that. There aren't that many apps for it on the market right now. Some of the apps that are "optimized" for Honeycomb are just reformatted to fit the bigger screen, but nothing new. Honeycomb is still somewhat buggy and lags. The HTC Flyer with single core has a much snappier experience than the Xoom with dual core and Honeycomb!

That's good to know. I have read and heard from a lot of people that the flyer is top of the line right now for a 7" tablet. Especially with HTC Sense. I really like since.

Anyone heard anything else on an update for the Flyer?
