Sluggish as hell!!!

Is is me or does the new DamageControl 2.07.2 ROM run slower than 2.05??? Please comment and let me know what you think...

I feel the same way. Although, installing autokiller seems to help (I think lol).

I'm with you, i thought it was just me. Installed Fresh and it's a lot better.

Jumped back to 2.06 and it's fast again. Loaded up APPS2SD and all my apps and still running quick. I wonder if flashing 2.07.2 directly causes it to slow down, I might run DC Updater to 2.07.2 and see what it does.

Yes...Fresh...much quicker. The new DamageControl ROM was noticeably more sluggish than the previous ROMS I had been running.

that shouldn't make a difference. Running it through the updater just does the exact same thing as flashing it directly, only it does it automatically.

Which version of the fresh rom would recommend running?

Damage Roms are not customized in the same manner as Fresh ROMS. I mean internally. Flipz really goes in and tweaks a lot of system files to make it more efficient where as Damage Roms (from what I can tell) usually just have apks thrown into them, at least in 2.05 and 2.06. Flipz will change about 10 things in the 2.1 roms (not detailed as he used to do in the 1.5 stuff), this usually leads to a faster feeling experience (transitions, more aggressive memory management, etc).
