Need help on my rooted my touch 3g hero rom

I recently rooted my mytouch 3g and installed the hero rom on it it runs very very smooth awsome rom but i have one problem sometimes when i hit the home button my my phone it goes to the htc screen you see when you turn on the phone and than a loading screen so its like it restarted itself this is very very annoying and if anyone knows how i can get this to stop that would be awsome please respond even if you cant help if you have this rom on your touch let me know how it works for you thanx alot hope someone can help
