Music App - Clear data??

Is there any way to clear and re-add the songs that show up in the playable portion of the stock HTC music player? I had a sub folder that had a ton of music that I don't care to listen to most of the time (classical stuff). I have cleared it off of my SD card, but the plethora of songs still have a placeholder in the music app.

I created a new library from itunes then copied the library to the music directory, IIRC.

There was some issue about apple files names starting with a "." where I had to eliminate the "."

If you added more audio files...just update the library and it will get rid of the old list.
