Missing or imcomplete shortcuts

Hi all--

sometimes after update installs certain apps(weather, touiter, FB) will have missing or incomplete shortcuts on the screen. After rebooting even Chomp will have a weird look about it.

Is there anything I can do (besides root) to fix these?

Have you tried deleteing the old icon from the screen and replaceing it with new. Also you could try clearing the data for that app to see if itll help.

updating an app will make the old icon cease to function
you have to replace it with the new one from your app drawer
