My old phone broke on me, and a family member sent me a old HTC Hero. I'm having a problem activating it. When I call *2 and go through the process. It asks for a 11, 14, or 18 digit code that can be found on the phone box. The only problem is that I don't have that code. Is there any other way to get that code? Please help, and thank you for reading.

You may have to call the service provider to re-activate a used device

No worries! Slide the back cover of the phone off and remove the battery. The numbers are printed there. Enjoy your Hero! I still have mine.
