Is there anyway I can turn off screen timeout during calls? It's annoying that I have to hit end to first turn the screen on and then hit end again to actually end the call.. I'd rather just have the screen stay on during calls and hit the end on the screen (not the physical button) to end calls. Are there any apps or patches for ROMs (I'm rooted and running a custom ROM) that can help me achieve this?

Quick market search turned up an app called KeepScreen by AxDroid LLC. There is a free version, try it out and see if that works for you. It seemed alright to me, I just uninstalled it to make more room.

Hit the volume button on the side and it lights right up. Then you can end the call. That is easier than the menu button method. Bob

you'll end up hitting touch screen buttons with your cheek if you leave the screen on, ive tried it. I dont have a fat face or anything...lol
