Keyboard comes up when i hit menu... hmm

Anyone know what i am possibly doing wrong?

A lot of times when i'm in an app like Facebook, iMusic, etc... i'll hit the menu key and it brings up the keyboard instead of the menu. Then i'll hit menu again to take away the keyboard, and again to bring up the actual menu.

Anyone have this happen to?

This is a feature of the phone, if you long press menu the keyboard will come up. Its handy for things like terminal emulator, and if you read the comments on that app on the market, 90% of the Hero owners complain it doesn't support the Hero, just because they don't realize holding down menu brings up the keyboard.

True... just try a lighter touch of menu and that is what you'll get. It is a slightly longer hold on the menu key (or a long press) that will always bring up the keyboard in many/most apps just as if you'd clicked the cursor into a text field.
