New Issue now when making calls

For the past few days now when I make a call it has a delay in making the connection, like 10 seconds, never had this issue before, the only program I have installed lately was the GPS for golf and of course the latest updates on the existing programs I have. Any suggestion, I have rebooted many times since and still have the issue.

Rumor has it the 2.1 update or atleast a maintenance patch is coming out today. You might just want to deal with the inconvenience for the day and see if the update helps in any way.

Have you tried updating your profile and PRL?

I've read that a large call log on the phone can cause a delay like this. If there is no reason why you need to keep it, you can delete the call log and see if that makes things faster. There is an app for that, called Call Log Trimmer, which will automatically trim the log based on your criteria after every call you make or receive (it doesn't actually do anything after installing until the first call.)
