The mobile video hangouts don't work on the MT4G? Bah. Is your girlfriend running 2.3.4 or 2.2.1?

(My boyfriend wanted to try them out, but if they don't work we're not even gonna bother.)

2.3.4 HTC or Google hasn't activated chat from withing talk/g+ yet.

You sir, are incorrect. Google updated the App Last night to allow for starting Hangouts from within the mobile app.

You open the app or go to messenger > go to the chain you want to hangout with > click the small camera in the upper right hang corner and pow. It comes right up.

It's meh at best on the MyTouch4G. But worked flawlessly on my Transformer.
