Update Problem....
So me and my sister both have the MyTouch 4G. She had an automatic update for her phone which I never got. Her software version is 2.3.4 from what I remember and mine is 2.2.1. When I go to "Settings" and "About Phone" to check for an update, they don't give me the option to manually do it. Can someone tell me what's wrong? Please and thank you in advance.

Dont know if this is still working but try *#*#682#*#* this worked for me, awhile back don't know if it still does

Also try *#*#checkin#*#* it forces the phone to look for updates if you get checkin succeeded there is no update good luck
