Question Random music track or radio station skipping

UPDATE: I noticed this only happens when I use the Car Dock. When I just open Mediaroom it works fine.

Here's an odd behavior I got on the last 2 days. On my daily commute, while I ride my motorcycle I use headphones to listen to music or fm radio. 2 days ago I used the built-in media player and put the random mode on. It went fine for the first 3-4 tracks, after that the tracks skipped before they were finished. I'm talking about 30-35 sec in the track it would skip to next one, and so on. Then it got back to normal after 4 skips like that. Yesterday, I was listening the FM radio and after 10 min it skipped to the next memorized station and in 10 seconds to next one. Then it stopped. What the .... it's going on? Is anyone else experienced this?

Turns out that the issue was not with the phone, but with the handset. It has the feature that you push the talk button once to play, twice to skip to next track and three times (trice? ) to skip to previous one. And the jack has a bad connection and skips by itself. I replaced the handset at everything works fine.

Did you mean changed the headset to fix it. Cause you said the phone was fine but the handset was bad. Isn't the phone and the handset the same thing. I'm only asking cause I have a vvivid with skull candy headset with the track skip button and I have the same issue.
