Any one that can help with a screen shot

Is there a way to take a screen shot with the my touch 4g? IS there a way to take it with out rooting the phone? I had a iphone and was able to take a snap shot of any thing that was on the screen and i see people on this form with snap shot with rooted mt4. Is there any one can help me? Thanks

Well without rooting, the only way I can think of would be through the SDK. Androidcentral did a good post on how to do it through the SDK. Hope this helped!

Shoot me will not work on all unrooted devices,,,but sometimes it does so its worth a shot

I tired that app but didn't work my phones isn't rooted..i tried the sdk but couldn't connect my phone to program to enable screen shot

what windows are you using, and what error did you get?

What you can do is TempROOT MT4G with VISIONary+ and then install/run ShotMe. When you restart you will not have SU root access anymore so nothing done so if you want to retake SS just enable it once again.

I'm using window xp.. When i open dalvik debug monitor i get a massage "failed to get the adb version. cannot run program adb. create process error=2, the system cannot find the file specified

Mind if I ask why you don't want to root? Rooting is fairly easy now and I just rooted my mytouch 4g in less than 15 minutes.

I had a iphone I jail broke that and always had problems..i don't want to void my warranty but I herd you can unroot the phone back..do you lose any thing when you root? Like wifi taking, battery life stuff like that? Is there a link that you went to root your phone in 15min?
