Hi all,

Has anyone figured out how to reset your entire predictive text dictionary in one hit?

I know there is the option of selecting one at a time and then deleting them, however this is pretty much useless when there's thousands of words stored.

All the best. X

System Settings > Applications > Keyboard app (I don't know the exact name of the stock keyboard, so look through the various apps) then delete the data and clear cache. That should do it :).

You're the man srkmagnus!

Just for clarification:
  1. System
  2. Apps
  3. All
  4. HTC Sense Input
  5. Clear Data & Clear Cache

When I first cleared it, I was getting the red spell check line underneath all of my words (irrelevant of whether or not they were spelt correctly). Give it a few minutes and it will fix itself.

On my Note2 it is:
Settings
Language and Input
Samsung Keyboard (I use the default rather than Skype or Google Voice.)
Predictive text - the on/off button is to the right.
Delete personalized data (from user. yes)
Restart seems to have worked. Hope this helps.
