several problems with my htc one

im not completely sure which htc one model i have but it came preinstalled with chrome and gmail and other google apps, so i guess its the google edition. but i have had it for about 8 months but already around after 3-4 months i noticed problems. at first, the battery would drain fast even if it was locked, the battery would go from 100% to 0% in one or two days. and the top part of my screen stopped functioning so i now have to go to landscape mode to pull down the taskbar, and its getting annoying. after a few more months, a bit thats just a tiny bit over the middle stopped working, and these parts of the screen can no longer be used. making it hard to use it. is there a fix or should i just deliver it to repair?
