I read a review, here, that the HTC One had a stock browser that had adobe flash support--which if true, it would be awesome. Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes it does. You have to use the stock browser and enable it in the menu.

And yet, with good coverage, can't seem to get TWiT Live - netcasts you love, from people you trust to actually start playing;-/

Yes just download the latest version of flash from the xda site. Make sure it is the Jelly bean version.

Why? It comes with the phone and is already installed. Just enable it in the browser.

If you read my post. I said the latest version which is
11.1.115.58 .It was updated on May 14. The pre May/manufactured HTC ones shipped with version 11.1.115.12. Which is about 2-3 versions old.
Adobe flash will not be updated in the play store anymore. It's been like this since ICS.
Hence, if you start to get an error/message down the road about downloading the latest version of flash to view this site or watch a video?
This is where to go to get the latest version of flash
