Just picked my pre-ordered phone at AT&T store, package already opened?!

Just picked up my phone, but just realized the phone packaging was opened already... Kind of diss appointed was hoping to open it up myself, does this happen to all phone shipped to the store or just a standard procedure.

Are you a new customer? Is it possible they did this to install the SIM pre-emptively?

ya they install the sim when it goes through the mail... irritating i know :'(

Same here. Mine was already opened to put the sim in. They also managed to ding up the area around the sim tray. Very annoying especially considering htc includes a tool for you to put the sim in yourself.
