    Default Amazon App Store problem

    Anyone else having problems with the Amazon App Store on their One? When I open it, all I get is a blank page. I reinstalled and cleared data, but it didn't help.

    I had the same problem. I loaded an older version and it worked.

    Same problem in my HTC One received Friday. I even copied the APK from my Nexus, but the AppStore still doesn't work. It launches, but just hangs.

    This apk for an older version worked on mine...just don't update when it prompts you to....

    I'd give you a quintuple thanks if possible, I was finally able to get the latest version of Swiftkey installed. THANKS!

    Well I got a other problem, when I try to download a app it will load than stop than I click back and it says country changed how do I fix it!!

    New problem.
    Tried to update Swiftkey, it downloaded but when I try to tap install, nothing.
    I did a IM chat with Amazon support, ended up uninstalling the entire app store, same thing, when I downloaded it and tried to tap install, nothing. The cancel button does work.
    Anyone else with a Sprint One having this issue?

    I had the same issue. A restart fixed it.

    Anyone know if this has been fixed? I'm still on the old apk, and wondering if it's safe to go ahead and upgrade so i can get rid of this notification.

    Just got my Verizon HTC One last Thursday and the Amazon Appstore was behaving the same way: The Store Home and All Categories activities came up, but My Apps screen was blank (with the exception of the title/search bar and context menu (3 dots) at the bottom, the Settings screen was blank the same way, and just about all other activities resulted in a blank screen. I tried running the "repair tool" that comes with the Appstore (see "Contact Customer Service" and you'll see the option) but while it said it found things to fix, it didn't actually resolve anything.

    What seems to have fixed it was going into the list of all Apps and clearing all the data and cache for the Appstore (note: you may see other Amazon apps, like one with a black logo, which IS NOT the same thing). Look for the app with the familiar orange logo ("Appstore") and clear the data from there.

    I just wanted to post this in case this helps someone.

    Yes, I had this issue too. So in my genius, I decided to uninstall and reinstall. Now I CAN'T reinstall. Everytime I try to install it, I get:

    Out of space. Appstore couldn't be installed. Free up some space and try again.

    Well... um... I have over 20GB (not MB) of space free. I thought maybe it was partitioning for apps, so I uninstalled an 80MB game. Tried again. Still said out of space. I could easily reinstall the 80MB and two other games each 50MB or more since, but Amazon won't let me reinstall. I'm angry as hell because now I have lost several apps that can't be used unless Amazon graciously decides to let me reinstall the damned thing and NOT tell me I'm out of space.

    I'm getting really sick of Amazon's crap.
