Question about the Google Play Store

Most of the times when I launch the app it takes me to the app section and others it launches on the menu screen where you can select Music, Movies, Apps, Games etc and go back and forth between them. Why does that happen? When it launches on the app section theres no way to go back and see the movies and music section? is this a bug or am I missing something?

Where it says "<Apps" at the top of the window, touch to the left side of that and it will take you back.
