Bluetooth Audio Timing Out after 5 minutes or so

Repro:

1. Pair bluetooth headphones.
2. Start playing music
3. After a few minutes (around 5), headphones stop producing music.

On my phone, it's still playing, and the Beats audio symbol is still on. But my headphones have stopped playing the audio.

Tried keeping the phone display on, increasing visibility timeout, etc. nothing.

Happens with all apps - Spotify, Music Player, etc.

Not a bluetooth headphone problem, as it stays alive fine on other devices (PC, other phones, etc). So definitely a HTC One problem.

Any ideas?

Settings > power > sleep mode (turn off) see if that fixes it. Just a guess.
Maybe power saver as well? I don't use either and use bluetooth to play music in my car all the time without interruption.

Good idea, but still no luck. Thanks though.

The thing is the headphones are still on, and the phone is still transmitting audio, as the beats symbol is on. It's just that there is no audio. Really weird... (and annoying)
