Is there a way to use the one as a mobile hospital for my laptop without rooting or signing up to the at&t plan? Don't want to lose my unlimited data but didn't know if there's some unofficial way this can be done.

Set up Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.

Developer Edition works fine with ATT -- no problems turning on the hotspot feature.

I have the DE, but haven't used the hotspot feature with ATT yet because I'm afraid they'll pull my grandfathered unlimited data plan. This is what they always threatened jailbroken iPhone users with when they used unauthorized hotspot apps. Has anyone heard of this happening?
