how to adjust volume on HTC one remote control?

Hi all.

I have set up my tv and amplifier on the remote control.
I can turn the amplifier on and off and change input but I can't seem to figure out how to turn the amplifiers volume up and down.

Would be grateful if somebody could shed some light.

Have you tried setting the buttons manually so that the volume will control the amp

Yes that works but also takes away the funtionality of the TV's sound

Does anyone have a solution where I can operate the sound on my TV and also on the amplifier?

How about setting a second remote for the amplifier, kinda sucks but that's all I got.
