Android 4.3 on SIM free?

If I buy a SIM free can I update to the latest 4.3 android? And does it matter what carrier I got with?

The build that's currently floating around is unofficial, however if you have any GSM variant of the device you can flash it. If it's not an international model, you may need SuperCID.

For the international version as well as the Verizon version it's 4.2.2, for all of the others it is either 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 with the exception of the Google Play Edition which runs stock android 4.3

Yes, it should get 4.3 but that would be later on

According to Llabtoofer, it's coming very soon, even to the USA. He's the one who leaked 4.3 with Sense 5.5.
