There's some talk of this over on Sprint's forums. https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/167420?start=105&tstart=0
Oddly enough I'm with Sprint. Is this only a Sprint issue?
Upon restarting my phone a week or so back I got the following message. Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it? Thank you.
No, I have the M7.
Ok M7 is it rooted/running custom rom/recovery?
Nope, no custom anything. Just a plain jane M7 from the factory.
Well what sense version and android version does it have?
I have all the latest updates. I believe it is Sense 6? Android 4. something? The Kit Kat One I think. To be honest I cant keep up with all the update names or versions. I just update when the phone tells me to. Sorry.
Smith is the name of some HTC system app that is used to track your data usage. I have no idea why that screen comes up, though, or what it means.
Settings>info about phone>software
if sense 6 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 or 4.4.2 it should be an error.
And did it just pop up or what?
Hardware version 0004
Software version 5.03.651.3
Yes it just popped up. Thanks.
