I have searched for an answer to this but have come up short...
After having my One since April 13, I decided to finally do a full factory reset on the phone and remove everything in order to gain speed and a load of storage that was being unnecessarily consumed.
One of the things I did to ensure I could easily get back up and running after the reset was to use the backup facility within the SMS messaging app. It saved a file to root directory of the phone, which I saved to my computer. After resetting and setting everything else back up, I transferred the file back, and went into the app to choose 'restore' messages.
Every time I try it it says a backup cannot be found. Should I have done anything else special? Have I missed out a step? Any help is appreciated.
