Rumored last M7 update 5.0.2

If HTC is going to make this the last update for the M7 they should just wait for 5.1 to be released this quarter. IMHO, most versions so far still have bugs so why not wait.

That seems a little unlikely, since I think 5.0.2 was specific for the 2012 Nexus 7. I agree with you--since the rumor mill suggests 5.1 might be released some time in the next couple of months, it would make sense to wait. But maybe HTC has some kind of internal timetable that they need to adhere to, and waiting the additional 2-3 months after the official 5.1 release to adapt and test it for the hardware and Sense UI might not fit with their business plan.

Oops, guess I'm wrong--looks like 5.0.2 is starting to roll out for Moto G. Some Moto G devices starting to receive Android 5.0.2 Lollipop

Being the last update seems about right. This is the second major update and it's been out two years with a new flagship phone due out later this year.
