Can I get some help with a Firmware Problem?

Firmware Problem

I have updated my firmware on my HTC One M7 to 7.19.401.1 and then updated it to 7.19.401.2 but when i use getvar all to check it worked it says i am still on 7.19401.1. I have also tried this with 6.09.401.12 with the same result.

How do i resolve the problem?

Welcome to the forums. Does it read that number when you boot to the bootloader?

You did a manual update? If so, how?

I upgraded using adb & fasboot commands as instructed in an xda thread & it worked every time until now

The file might have been bad. I would try redownloading it and reflashing.
