HTC one M7 not charging
Have had an HTC one M7 for 18 mos, worked fine until upgrade to android 5.0.2. Since then, while several issues (battery life, apps randomly coming on or crashing, biggest hassle has been inability to routinely charge. Device says is in USB host mode and only way I can get it to charge is to either restart (which works some of the time) or power off and charge powered down, which is OK (but suboptimal) at night but not practical during the day when people need to reach me. Tried a trick i saw on another forum of repowering up pressing power button and both volume keys simultaneously for 2 minutes but this only works some of the time and doesn't last. Any other thoughts/fixes? Really not looking to get another phone.
