Recently I discovered using an old Xperia Z2 tablet I got from Verizon (no longer with Verizon, no Verizon data) I could mirror and control my LG G4. I told another family member about this and they'd like to use it with their HTC M8. After some fiddling we found out how to mirror the image but when we try and use the tablet we get the error listed in the title?
Why is it not supported but mine is? Is there a workaround? The tablet no longer possesses data. We are with a different carrier.
I'd love for them to be able to use the tablet to play games from their phone like I did.
Rooting is an option because the phone was paid in full.
WIFI IS NOT AN OPTION: unfortunately we live outside the coverage of any major ISPs. So no WiFi at all. Thankfully we have unlimited data.
So, any suggestions?
