How to call forward on an M7

I have an HTC6500LVW and I use a 3rd party carrier that uses Verizon network. I can't use any verizon apps since I am not a Verizon "customer". My carrier does have the ability to forward calls, but I cannot find anything in settings to add a forwarding number. Can anyone shed some light on how to forward calls?

It's usually a code you enter in the phone dialer as though you're making a call. Your carrier's site should have info on this.

If you recall the old *69 code to call back a hang-up call (or something like that), it's a similar concept.
