Play music will come thru speakers but not the regular music app. No big deal, the Rom is great. One big thing I noticed is how fast you get internet back after a phone call. I had Bad Boys on my M7 and loved it then.

Yes it will work but some have reported the sound acting odd sometimes if you aren't on the firmware. You can always use the H/K RUU to get on the firmware or if you are s-off you can flash just the modified firmware and be good to go

Get the latest rom and be on the latest firmware and reflash the rom

i have a sprint non hk m8 and i want to flash the newest update. i am fully rooted, unlocked, and s-off. i followed the link above to find the newest update firmware, but i was wondering which link do i chose? they have modified firmware and full firmware from OTA. which do i chose and what is the difference?

The modified has the hboot and stock recovery removed so you should use it

so i have been trying to flash the modified firmware through hboot, but it is not working. i follow the instructions: rename the file, put it on sd card, boot into bootloader, my phone recognizes the file and it runs through w no problem. but when i turn the phone back on it is still at the old software version, and nothing has changed. i have also tried other mirrors on the link and nothing happens either. i wonder if there is something wrong w the file, cuz i swear im doing everything right.

Thats because you are flashing the firmware and not the software. The software version wont change until you flash a different version of it. Firmware is like the radio, hboot and its more like drivers for your PC. Look and see if your baseband changed.

i dont know if the baseband changed, i didnt check it before. im sorry i thought the firmware was the same as the software. i need to update my phone to the newest software update, 3.31.651.2, then, so how do i do that? i tried doing it ota w the last update,but my twrp voided the update when it restarted. thats why im tring to flash throught the hboot.

Do you use a custom rom or just stock rooted? You can flash either through TWRP. I havnt built any stock rooted roms from the latest OTA i just don't have the time. Have you looked over on XDA

I just have stock rooted, it's really annoying cuz the notification to update pops up every 30 mins

long press the notification go to app info and uncheck the notification

I did what u said but it won't let me unclick notifications, it is grayed out, so I just clicked force stop, that will have to do for now I guess, thanks for help!!
