Default HTC One (M8): Who's hacked their phone?

Haven't seen too many root/rom/hack threads. And I'm waiting for a dev section for this phone.

When I had the M7, I had it unlocked, twrp, and rooted witching hours of owning the thing. But, I haven't had the itch to do so with the M8.

I'm debating on either turning my AT&T M8 into the GPE or international variant.

Anyone else thinking the same thing?

Keep an eye on XDA. Those guys are pretty good and I'm sure will let everyone know once they find a way .

I unlocked my AT&T version and now running the GPE ROM on it. So far no issues at all!

I unlocked and rooted a couple days after I got it. Not interested in flashing roms just be able to maybe flash a new kernel with some added tweaks and a couple apps that still require root.

After the heck I went through restoring my One Max to factory so I could sell it, I will NOT be hacking the M8.

Last night I used Firewater to get S-Off, flashed CWM for recovery (still waiting for a stable TWRP), & flashed SuperSU in recovery to get permanent root. I don't think there are any ROMS available yet, but who needs one right now since we're already running 4.4.2.
