confused after upgrade from trusty S2

Hi. Love the new M8. However I used the HTC app to transfer all from s2 to m8 and it reported no problems. I got my contacts, Photos, music, sms etc but just can't find my apps? It would appear that either none transferred or they did but somehow they are hidden. I have also signed in with my Google account on the m8 which I thought would automatically transfer my apps to my m8. No luck. Can it be that difficult? Any guidance would be appreciated.

If you go in the play store and go to my apps, you can see a list of all the apps you've downloaded. I would go there and batch install them. (long press an app and then it will let you select more to batch install)
