The wifii calling seems to cause a bug with GPS. I have to reboot my phone to get it to work.

Restarting or profile updating seems to fix it temporarily. But yeah, definitely an issue with having Wifi calling on.

Yes. I am having the same issue. It looks like it's working (GPS indicator in the notification bar) but it isn't. Complete reboot required. At least rebooting is fast on the M8.

I wonder if this is related to the WiFi calling being turned on. I will be out this weekend doing some hiking and Geocaching. I will test it out and see if there are any issue with WiFi calling ON vs. OFF.

I haven't tested enough to know for sure, but I think it is. When Wifi calling is off and you keep it off and do a profile update to fix GPS it seems to stay fixed until you re-enable Wifi calling. But I'll be interested to know your results.

I'm on the road in the Upper Penisula of Michigan and on wifi at this casino, with wifi calling on and working and my GPS is working and locking onto my location in all programs that I've tried, including maps and weather. Over the past week, I've had wifi calling on and off a lot and haven't had any GPS issues that I've seen, and I use it a lot. The only issue I've had is data connectivity, mostly while roaming or slow to switch over from Sprint. I was finally able to update my profile after getting back into Sprint service and that helped, but still seem to loose data a lot in fringe areas ...

Well I had no issue picking up or using GPS on any app this weekend with WiFi calling ON or OFF. Navigation, Geocaching or anything... It is quite possible that i had done a profile update with WiFi calling off when I was diagnosing. So as for my testing goes, no issue currently found.

Yeah, you're right, I think it's something about 3rd-party app,"wifi-calling" ,since Sprint had known this issue, just wait for them to announce new version. I have test it before, if I'm outside in good GPS conditions, enable wifi-calling, there's no wrong to hit the GPS system.
But if I go back to inside with weak GPS conditions, after use wifi-calling, then other GPS app will not locate my position.

But there's one thing interesting, that's my Google maps still works, because I can use internet or Sim card signal to locate my position,
It only hit my PAPAGO(Navigation)app, for it just needs GPS to locate, not internet.
So I need to reboot my phone and the navigation works.
The wifi-calling is good, but I hope Sprint can fix it as soon as possible.

When I turn on WiFi calling I am continually asked over and over to pick my location. I did a factory reset but it continues to ask me to verify my location. Is anyone else seeing the same?

I cannot get my s/w to talk to me. As far as anyone can tell (I've asked for help) all the settings are correct. I've tried four different Navigation Apps including Google Maps and Scout. The both say something at the beginning but then either freeze completely (Scout did that) or give me turn by turn directions visually but do not announce directions. It does not help when one is driving. In the case of Google Maps on a trip from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Atlanta Georgia, the only voice message receive was "You have arrived at your destination." At which point I almost threw the stupid thing out the window. What's going on?

Tips, when u want to use Navigation Apps,Google Maps and Scout , disable wifi-calling service and reboot your phone first.
If u can't solve it, feedback the issue to Sprint (your carrier is Sprint?).
