Anyone having GPS issues with their M8? I contacted Sprint and they are working on a fix. No ETA.

If you're having issues directly related to your GPS, there's really nothing sprint can do I don't think...Anyone having GPS issues with their M8? I contacted Sprint and they are working on a fix. No ETA.

What is messed up on the GPS on your Sprint M8? I use mine on a daily basis as well as for Geocaching without issues
What sort of issues are you seeing?
The wifii calling seems to cause a bug with GPS. I have to reboot my phone to get it to work.

I wonder if this is related to the WiFi calling being turned on. I will be out this weekend doing some hiking and Geocaching. I will test it out and see if there are any issue with WiFi calling ON vs. OFF.
I haven't tested enough to know for sure, but I think it is. When Wifi calling is off and you keep it off and do a profile update to fix GPS it seems to stay fixed until you re-enable Wifi calling. But I'll be interested to know your results.

Yeah, you're right, I think it's something about 3rd-party app,"wifi-calling" ,since Sprint had known this issue, just wait for them to announce new version. I have test it before, if I'm outside in good GPS conditions, enable wifi-calling, there's no wrong to hit the GPS system.I haven't tested enough to know for sure, but I think it is. I cannot get my s/w to talk to me. As far as anyone can tell (I've asked for help) all the settings are correct. I've tried four different Navigation Apps including Google Maps and Scout. The both say something at the beginning but then either freeze completely (Scout did that) or give me turn by turn directions visually but do not announce directions. It does not help when one is driving. In the case of Google Maps on a trip from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Atlanta Georgia, the only voice message receive was "You have arrived at your destination." At which point I almost threw the stupid thing out the window. What's going on?
