So HTC pushed this app called "power to give" which is essentially giving away some cpu and storage juice to scientific projects to be partially running on your phone when idle and charging.

By the app terms of use it say that theres no warranty against any malfunction made by the app.

So they mainly ask us, the consumers to risk our hardware, volunteer it to projects, have no way to watch what's happening on our phones and breach our warranties?!
    What's your say about this?

Edit: you can uninstal this app.

That's the warranty for the app, since it is also available for non-HTC devices.

I think you're reading far too much into it, it doesn't waive the phone warranty
